About Perssista
Perssista is a product of Anexaris. In this Privacy Policy, “Perssista,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Anexaris in connection with the Perssista product and services.
What stays on your device
When you use a local AI model, your messages, voice recordings, and any files you attach are processed entirely on your own computer. They are never sent to Perssista or any third party. Voice transcription and OCR also run locally by default.
What leaves your device
- Cloud AI providers. If you connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or another cloud provider using your own API key, your messages are sent directly to that provider under their own privacy policy — not routed through Perssista's servers.
- Account & subscription. If you create an account, we store your email, a hashed password, and subscription status on our servers to manage login and billing.
- Payments. Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details.
- Web Research & Browser. These features make network requests to search engines and websites you visit, the same as any browser.
Meeting Intelligence data
When you record a meeting, the transcript and everything generated from it — the executive summary, key discussion points, decisions, action items, and any follow-up email you generate — are saved to your account so they're available across sessions and devices, not just shown once and lost when you close the window. This data is scoped to your account only; we don't use it to train models or share it with anyone else.
Referral program data
If you use a referral code, or someone uses yours, we keep a record of the referral relationship, its status, and the credits awarded to each side. For abuse prevention, we also record the signup IP address of the referred account and use it to apply reasonable limits on how many referrals can come from one place in a short period. This record is kept as a permanent audit trail and is not shared outside Perssista.
How your data is protected on your device
Your authentication and session data is encrypted on-device using AES-256, with the encryption key itself protected by your operating system's own secure storage — Keychain on macOS, Credential Manager on Windows, or Secret Service on Linux, the same mechanism your browser and password manager already rely on. If your device doesn't support this, a weaker fallback is used automatically rather than leaving the data unprotected, and this is a deliberate trade-off we've documented rather than a silent downgrade.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't read the content of your local conversations.
- We don't display third-party advertising inside the app.
Your controls
You can delete your account, export your conversations, and switch to fully local/offline mode at any time from Settings.
